    Comments:

I have used the non-hooded version of this jacket for years for cycling. I keep it in my commuting bag at all times. It is extremely light, breathes surprisingly well and rolls up to be very compact. These jackets are NOT very durable, but I still highly recommend them for occasional use. I just bought the hooded version to use backpacking. Wow, the sizing is totally different! I wear a large in the non-hooded version and a small in the hooded version, and it's slightly bigger. The cut is more slender on the non-hooded version too. Or perhaps it is just really poor quality control. I strongly recommend trying it on before you buy.

    Comments:

I have had this jacket for several years and used it for cycling and long distance hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail. While the fabric is truly better than Goretex for breathability, the jacket is very weak and flimsy, poorly stitched, and split apart on my last hike. Don't expect more than occasional use out of it.

    Comments:

I don't cycle, but we happened upon this product (jacket and pants) in a marina and bought a set for our son for when we sail -loved it so much I bought a set for myself. Very lightweight, does not encumber me, can wear in warm weather or cold, as you can vary how much you wear underneath to stay warm or cool.

    Comments:

It's a great jacket and I would recommend it to anyone, but watch out for the weird sizing. I bought a large cycling jacket from Rainshield in town and it fit perfectly - I'm 5'2", about 150 lbs. I wanted a jacket with a hood for backpacking and I had to order it online 'cos I couldn't find one locally. I ordered a large, thinking it would be the same sizing as the cycling jacket and it was way too big. So I sold it to a tall guy and ordered a small instead.

      Comments:

This thing is really lightweight and durable, as well as effective. It folds up nicely into its included sack and is easily stuffed into a corner of a suitcase or back pack. No room in the back pack? Tie it to the outside! It is so light you hardly know it's there. I already have one and am ordering one each for the wife and kids.
